The DigitalMetal CDT is a collaborative PhD programme led by the University of Leicester, with partners including Birmingham, Loughborough, Nottingham, and Warwick. It is designed to train 80 future leaders in transforming the UK’s metals industry using digital technology, AI, and engineering innovation, supported by advanced training in management and leadership. 

 Who Can Apply? 

Applicants from the UK and eligible international students with a strong academic background in a relevant subject. International applicants should confirm if the host institution can cover the tuition difference between home and international fees.
