The Fish Macroecology Research Group at the University of Delaware invites applications for a fully funded Master’s position beginning Fall 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated students to engage in cutting-edge research on marine biodiversity, ecology, and fisheries management using quantitative and data-driven approaches.

 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science, Ecology, Biology, Fisheries Science, or a related field.

  • Demonstrate strong interest in quantitative ecology, data science, and statistics.

  • Be self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with R programming.

    • Background in quantitative ecology or data science.

    • Prior research or scientific writing experience.
