The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Carnegie Mellon University Africa (CMU-Africa) empowers talented young Africans to become transformative leaders and innovators. Established in 2016, the program provides comprehensive academic, financial, and leadership support to scholars, helping them drive social and economic change across the continent.

Outstanding students from African countries who demonstrate strong academic ability, leadership potential, and a commitment to giving back to their communities.
