Edith Cowan University (ECU) invites exceptional students from around the world to apply for its Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year. These fully funded scholarships cover tuition fees, provide a generous living allowance, and support both domestic and international scholars in pursuing cutting-edge research across disciplines.

Who Can Apply?

Both domestic and international students who wish to pursue a Master’s or PhD degree at Edith Cowan University.

What is Covered?

• Full tuition fees
• Annual stipend of $35,000, paid fortnightly
• Relocation allowance (for local students)
• Partial Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to both domestic and international applicants
• Must meet English language proficiency requirements
• Must hold an undergraduate degree (for Master’s) or a Master’s degree (for PhD) in the relevant field
• Must receive an offer of admission to a research degree at Edith Cowan University
• Supervisor support is required before applying.
