The GREAT Scholarship supports international students pursuing a one-year Master’s degree at leading UK universities. For 2026/27, 200 scholarships are available across more than 70 universities in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

• Who Can Apply: International students from 18 eligible countries (Bangladesh, China, Egypt, France, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam) with a completed undergraduate degree.

• What is Covered: £10,000 contribution towards tuition fees.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be from an eligible country listed above.

  • Hold an undergraduate degree.

  • Meet the UK university’s English language requirements.

  • Act as a GREAT Scholarship ambassador and maintain contact with the British Council.
