The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship is a fully funded program jointly sponsored by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and approved UK universities. It allows international students from eligible Commonwealth countries to pursue a one-year Master’s degree in the UK, with all tuition, living expenses, travel, and allowances covered.

Who Can Apply?
International students from eligible Commonwealth countries seeking a Master’s degree in the UK who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

What Is Covered?

• Full tuition fees

• Monthly stipend for living expenses

• Warm clothing allowance (as needed)

• Study-related travel funds

• Child allowance (if applicable)

• Round-trip airfare

Eligibility Criteria:

• Citizen of or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country

• Permanent resident in an eligible Commonwealth country

• Undergraduate degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honors or lower second-class with relevant postgraduate qualification

• Available to start study in the UK in September 2026

• Have not studied or worked for more than one academic year in a high-income country

• Financially unable to afford studying in the UK without the scholarship

• Select an approved program at a participating UK university

• Submit all required documents including proof of citizenship or refugee status, passport/ID, and full academic transcripts
