The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS-U) is a fully funded program by the Korean government designed to support talented international students pursuing undergraduate studies in Korea. The scholarship promotes educational exchange and strengthens international ties by offering recipients the opportunity to study across all fields in Korean universities.

Who Can Apply?

  • International students without Korean citizenship.

  • Students aged between 18–25 years.

  • High school graduates applying for Bachelor’s or Associate’s degrees.

What is Covered?

  • Full tuition fees.

  • Monthly living allowance.

  • Round-trip airfare.

  • Settlement allowance.

  • Medical insurance.

  • Language training (if required).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must not hold Korean citizenship or dual nationality with Korea.

  • High academic standing (80% percentile or higher in previous studies).

  • Must be in good physical and mental health.

  • No criminal record.

  • Must not have received any other Korean government scholarship.

How to Apply?
