The Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Institute of Science) invites outstanding international students to apply for the 2026 MEXT Scholarship, a prestigious and fully funded program supported by the Japanese Government. Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.30 out of 3.00 in the last degree program.

• Must hold citizenship from a country with diplomatic relations with Japan.
• Must be a graduate of a Japanese university or possess equivalent academic ability.
• The intended research field must be related to the applicant’s previous major and available at the Institute.
• Must demonstrate English language proficiency.
• Must be able to arrive in Japan within two weeks of the start of the third quarter (late September or early October 2026).
