The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, created by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, enables French universities to attract outstanding international students for Master’s and PhD programs. It is designed for future leaders in the public and private sectors and focuses on priority fields of study.
Who Can Apply?

International students nominated by a French higher education institution.

Applicants up to 27 years old for Master’s programs.

Applicants up to 32 years old for PhD programs.
What is Covered?
Monthly allowance (€1,181 for Master’s; €1,700 for PhD)
International travel to and from France
National and local transport
Health insurance
Housing search assistance
Cultural activities
Tuition fees are not covered (but French institutions often waive these for scholarship recipients).
Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a non-French national.

Apply for Master’s or PhD at a French higher education institution that agrees to nominate you.

Age limits: under 27 (Master’s) and under 32 (PhD) at the time of application.

Only French institutions can submit applications on behalf of students (students cannot apply directly).
How to Apply?

Identify and apply to a French university that participates in the Eiffel Program.

Request that the institution nominates you for the scholarship.

The French institution submits your application to Campus France.

Wait for results, published in April 2026.
