The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is one of the most prestigious French Government scholarships, designed to attract outstanding international students for master’s and PhD programs in France. Managed by Campus France, the scholarship covers living costs, transport, insurance, and cultural activities while providing top-quality higher education in science, technology, social sciences, economics, law, and political science.

Program Duration:

  • Master’s (M1): up to 12 months
  • Master’s (M2): up to 24 months
  • Doctoral (PhD): up to 36 monthsWho Can Apply?International students (outside France) with excellent academic records applying for master’s or PhD programs at recognized French higher education institutions.

    Master’s:
    • Monthly allowance of €1,200
    • International & domestic transport

    PhD:
    • Monthly allowance of €2,100
    • International & domestic transport
    • Health insurance
    • Housing assistance

     Eligible Fields of Study
    • Science & Technology: Biology, Health, Ecological Transition, Mathematics, Digital, Engineering
    • Social & Human Sciences: History, French Language & Civilization, Law, Political Science, Economics, Management

     Eligibility Criteria
    • Applications must be submitted via French higher education institutions (students cannot apply directly).
    • Must be an international student (residing outside France for master’s; PhD applicants in France may apply, but preference is given to those abroad).
    • Only accredited degree programs (master’s, engineering, PhD) are eligible.
    • Continuous education, apprenticeships, or professional training are not eligible.

     How to Apply?
    1. Choose your institution:Contact Campus France or the international office of your chosen French university.
    2. Apply to the university:Indicate that you want to be considered for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship.
    3. The university submits your application: If selected, your school/university will forward your application to Campus France.
