The Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships at TU Delft offer exceptional international students the chance to pursue a fully funded two-year Master’s degree in science, engineering, or technology. Funded by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen, the award supports bright minds dedicated to solving global challenges through innovation.

Who Can Apply?
Outstanding international students who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of TU Delft’s regular two-year MSc programmes (not joint education programmes).

What is Covered?

• Full tuition fee coverage (statutory or institutional rate, depending on nationality)
• Contribution toward living expenses for the duration of the MSc programme

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be an international applicant
• Must have achieved excellent academic results, ranking among the top 10% of their previous class (no proof required)
• Must submit a complete MSc application before the scholarship deadline
• Must meet TU Delft’s admission and English language requirements

How to Apply:

1. Complete your MSc application via the TU Delft admissions portal.
2. Upload all scholarship documents at once with your MSc application, including:
   • Scholarship Application Form
   • Two reference letters (uploaded or sent via referee invitation)
   • English language certificate (if required)
3. Ensure all documents are submitted before the deadline — no additional uploads allowed afterward.
