Awarded every two years, this prestigious scholarship provides generous funding to help you focus on impactful research without financial stress.

• Australian permanent residents

• Australian humanitarian visa holders

• International students

 What is Covered?

• Living allowance (stipend) $52,352 p.a. (2025 rate)

• Research allowance

• Relocation allowance (if eligible)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Submit a scholarship application in the year the award is offered

• Undertake research that is environmentally responsible and socially beneficial

• Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process requirements

• Meet Monash English language proficiency requirements

• Research must be within: Arts (School of Music only), Engineering, Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences, or Science

How to Apply:

• Submit your graduate research scholarship application via the myApp Portal at the same time as your course application (or while enrolled)

• No need to select specific scholarships — eligible applicants are automatically considered

• Must be nominated by the relevant faculty (invitation required for new applicants)
