The King’s College London Commonwealth Shared Scholarship provides fully funded opportunities for students from eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries to pursue approved master’s programs at KCL. Who Can Apply?

  • Students from eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries

  • Must meet the entry requirements for their chosen KCL master’s program

What Is Covered?

  • Full tuition fees

  • Living stipend

  • Other expenses as per Commonwealth Shared Scholarship guidelines

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Citizen or refugee of an eligible Commonwealth country

  • Permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country

  • Able to start studies in the UK by September 2026

  • Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honours, or a lower second-class degree plus relevant postgraduate qualification

  • Have not studied/worked for more than one year in a high-income country

  • Financial need (unable to afford UK study without the scholarship)

  • Fluent in English and meet KCL entry requirements

  • Commit to returning to home country after studies

  • Submit all required documentation before the deadline
