Curtin University’s Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships support outstanding domestic and international students pursuing a Higher Degree by Research (HDR). The award covers living costs, tuition fees, and research expenses to help you focus on impactful research.

Who Can Apply?
Current and prospective domestic or international HDR students at Curtin University.

What is Covered?

• Living stipend (tax-free)

• Tuition fees (for international students)

• Research support costs

Eligibility Criteria:

• Meet Curtin’s HDR admission requirements

• Secure an Invitation to Apply from a Curtin supervisor

• Not currently receiving a HDR base stipend (for current students)

• Have confirmed supervisor support

• Maintain Good Standing academic status

• Not have exceeded 18 months of full-time equivalent HDR enrolment (as of 1 July)

How to Apply:

1.  July – 18 August: Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to a project lead or supervisor.

2. Receive an Invitation to Apply.

3. By 31 October: Submit your HDR admission application (including referee reports).

4. Await outcome in November.
