The Caltech Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) 2026 is a 10-week fully funded research internship that gives undergraduate students the chance to work alongside world-class mentors at one of the most prestigious science and technology institutions in the world.

 Who Can Apply?
Open to undergraduate students (U.S. and international) with a strong academic background and interest in STEM fields—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

  Eligibility Criteria:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (BSc) program

• Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 2.0)

• Not a high school student or graduate student

• Open to both U.S. citizens and international students
