The Law AI Summer Fellowship 2026, hosted by the Institute for Law & AI in Cambridge, UK, is a fully funded 10-week program that explores the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, law, and policy, with a focus on EU Law. Fellows work on research projects under expert mentorship and gain practical knowledge on governing AI safely and ethically.

Who Can Apply?
International applicants from all countries, including graduate students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, legal professionals, and academics interested in AI law and policy. Diverse levels of experience are encouraged.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to nationals of all countries

• Applicants do not need to be qualified to practice law in the EU

• Backgrounds: graduate law students (JD, LLM), PhD candidates, postdocs, professionals transitioning into AI law, and legal academics
