The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) provides full financial support for exceptional African students pursuing master’s degrees in Global Health Delivery (MGHD) and Health Professions Education (MHPE). The program nurtures transformative leaders dedicated to reshaping Africa’s healthcare systems and advancing health equity across the continent.

Who Can Apply:
Talented Africans, especially young women, persons with disabilities, and those who have been forcibly displaced or hold refugee status within Africa, who aspire to become leaders in health equity.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be African (priority given to women, persons with disabilities, and displaced youth).

Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.

Must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application (exceptions for applicants with disabilities).

Must demonstrate leadership potential, commitment to community service, and passion for advancing health equity.
