The University of Bern is seeking a highly motivated PhD student for the SensDent project within the Department of Restorative, Preventive, and Pediatric Dentistry. The project focuses on developing an “intelligent prosthesis” capable of analyzing salivary biomarkers in real time and delivering targeted medications. The PhD student will conduct laboratory analyses, study salivary biomarkers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Switzerland.

Who Can Apply:
Candidates holding a Master of Science in Dentistry (or equivalent) with a strong interest in restorative and preventive dentistry. Applicants should have high proficiency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Master of Science in Dentistry or equivalent recognized by the University of Bern

• Strong motivation and interest in restorative and preventive dentistry
