Dr. Sanjana Hossain at Howard University is seeking a motivated Ph.D. student for interdisciplinary research on emerging transportation systems. The position focuses on innovative methods to improve data, modeling, and forecasting for evidence-based infrastructure planning and operations. Competitive funding is available.

Who Can Apply?

• Bachelor’s degree holders in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, or related quantitative fields (Master’s preferred)

• Candidates with experience in econometric methods, advanced statistics, and machine learning
