The ICP Connect Scholarship offers talented students from Africa, Asia, and Latin America the opportunity to pursue their studies at top Flemish universities or universities of applied sciences and arts in Belgium. The program supports individuals committed to driving sustainable development and positive social change in their home countries.

Who Can Apply?
Students from 30 eligible developing countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America who demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainable development and leadership in their communities.

What is Covered?

• Full tuition fees

• Monthly allowance for living expenses

• Travel costs (to and from Belgium)

• Health insurance

• Visa and settlement allowance

• Coverage for program-related expenses

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a citizen of an eligible country (Africa, Asia, or Latin America).

• Show strong motivation linked to sustainable development.

• Demonstrate a commitment to positive social change after graduation.

• Preference for candidates with professional experience.

• Encouragement for female applicants and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

• Should not have previously received a scholarship to study in a high-income country.

• Apply through the official VLIR-UOS website or the participating university’s portal.

• Select an ICP Connect study programme taught in English.

• Submit academic records, motivation letter, and proof of eligibility.
