The EPFL E3 Summer Internship is a fully funded research opportunity for Bachelor’s and Master’s students from around the world. Participants spend 8–12 weeks at one of Europe’s top science and technology universities, working alongside world-class researchers on innovative projects in engineering, science, and technology.

Who Can Apply?

• Bachelor’s and Master’s students from any country.
• Students must maintain active enrollment at their home university throughout the internship period.
• PhD students are not eligible.

What is Covered?

• Monthly living allowance of 1,800 CHF
•  Covers accommodation and living expenses
• Travel costs reimbursed by the host laboratory
• No tuition or registration fees
•  Opportunity to conduct research in top European laboratories

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a current Bachelor’s or Master’s student.
• Must have completed at least two years of a Bachelor’s program.
• Field of study: Engineering, Science, or Technology.
• Strong academic record (GPA) required.
• Good communication and research motivation skills.
