The University of Oslo invites applications for a three-year PhD Research Fellowship in computational neuroscience/brain physics within the Department of Physics. The project is part of the EU Horizon-funded Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Network NeuroNanotech, focusing on integrating nanotechnology and neurocomputational modeling for advanced brain interfaces. The fellowship provides excellent research training leading to a PhD degree.
Who Can Apply?

Eligibility Criteria:

Must not already hold a doctoral degree

Must comply with the MSCA mobility rule: not have resided or carried out main activity in Norway for more than 12 months in the past 36 months

Academic credentials in the upper segment of their class

Bachelor’s average grade ≥ C, Master’s average grade ≥ B, Master’s thesis ≥ B (Norwegian system)

Strong communication, teamwork, and independent research skills
