All accepted Bioengineering Ph.D. students at Penn are fully funded, meaning tuition, health insurance, and a stipend are provided. Funding may come from Penn departments, faculty research grants, training grants, industry partnerships, or external fellowships. Students are encouraged to apply for external fellowships for additional flexibility and benefits.
