This award recognises exceptional academic achievement and supports research projects that align with ACU’s strategic priorities and research strengths.

Who can apply?
International students applying for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Ministry at ACU in eligible faculties:

• Education and Arts

• Health Sciences

• Law and Business

• Theology and Philosophy

What is covered?

• Stipend: AUD $33,511/year (up to 3.5 years)

• Full tuition coverage (up to 3.5 years)

• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) – single policy for the entire period

• Relocation allowance – up to AUD $2,000 for international students

Eligibility criteria:

• Must be classified as an international student for fee purposes

• Meet ACU’s Higher Degree Research and RTP Scholarship Policy requirements

• Research proposal must align with ACU’s research strengths/strategic priorities

• Cannot hold another ACU scholarship concurrently
