The University of Idaho Scholarship 2026 offers a fully funded graduate position for both domestic and international students passionate about range science. The program equips scholars with advanced research skills and professional networks in the fields of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Animal, Veterinary, and Food Sciences—Preparing them for impactful careers in sustainability, livestock, and land management.

 Who Can Apply?
Graduate students (U.S. and international) with a strong academic background and passion for agricultural or environmental sciences.

 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must hold a Master’s degree in a related field (completed within 3 months of the start date)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Valid driver’s license and readiness for field research in variable conditions

  • Preference given to candidates with experience in:

    • Vegetation monitoring, livestock handling, agricultural tech

    • Geographic mapping (ArcGIS, onX)

    • Rural/agricultural operations

    • Research publication, grant writing, or stakeholder presentations
