The Emile Boutmy Sub-Saharan Africa Scholarship is designed for outstanding students from Sub-Saharan Africa who show strong academic excellence and leadership potential but lack the financial means to access world-class education. The scholarship supports candidates committed to driving positive change in Africa through policy, innovation, and development.

What is Covered:

• Full or partial tuition fee coverage for the entire Master’s duration
• Living stipend (depending on the level of funding awarded)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a citizen or legal resident of a Sub-Saharan African country (or temporarily abroad).
• Must show financial need and proof of financial circumstances.
• Must demonstrate leadership and commitment to Africa’s development.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) by the next academic year.
• Must apply for a two-year Master’s program at one of Sciences Po’s seven Graduate Schools (not eligible for one-year, dual, or joint programs).
• Must meet a C1 language level in English or French (depending on the program).
• Must be under 35 years of age at the start of the graduate academic year.
• Must not already hold or be pursuing a Master’s degree.

• Upload all supporting documents (financial proof, recommendation letter, transcripts, etc.).
