Chevening is the UK Government’s flagship international scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations. It offers outstanding future leaders from around the world the opportunity to pursue a fully funded master’s degree in the UK while building a powerful global network.
Who Can Apply?

Citizens of a Chevening-eligible country (including Nigeria).

Individuals with leadership qualities and a track record of professional achievement.

Candidates ready to return to their home country for at least two years after completing their studies.
What is Covered?

Full university tuition fees

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country.

Commit to returning to your home country for a minimum of two years after study.

Hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies you for a UK master’s programme.

Have at least 2,800 hours (≈2 years) of work experience gained after graduation.

Apply to three eligible UK master’s courses and secure an unconditional offer from at least one by the specified deadline.

Must not:

Hold British or dual British citizenship (exceptions apply).

Have studied in the UK before on a UK government-funded scholarship.

Be an employee or close relative of UK government institutions (some exceptions for Chevening Partners).
