Applications are open for the Stanford Fisher Family Summer Fellows Program 2026 (formerly the Draper Hills Summer Fellows Program). This prestigious, fully funded fellowship at Stanford University’s Centre on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) brings together 28–30 mid-career professionals from around the world for three weeks of leadership training, networking, and academic engagement.
Who Can Apply?
Professionals working in the fields of democracy, development, governance, law, and civil society—including policymakers, academics, journalists, social entrepreneurs, and NGO leaders.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must reside and work in a country where democracy is not well established
