The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers the "Leadership for Africa" (LfA) scholarship programme to support the academic qualification and advancement of young refugees and national scholars from Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Mauritania. The programme provides scholarships for master’s studies in Germany, aiming to contribute to the education of future leaders essential for the development of their home countries. It includes a complementary training programme in good governance, civil society, and career development
