The Asia Foundation Development Fellowship is a fully funded, year-long leadership program designed to empower emerging leaders across Asia. It combines training, mentorship, and international exposure to equip fellows with the skills and networks needed to drive positive change in their communities.

Who Can Apply?

• Young professionals under 40
• Citizens/resident nationals of eligible Asian countries
• Individuals with proven leadership experience in governance, law, women’s empowerment, environment, climate action, economic development, or regional cooperation

What is Covered?

• Full program expenses (tuition, travel, accommodation, meals, visas, health & accident insurance)
• Leadership workshops & study tours in Asia and the U.S.
• Networking with regional leaders & experts
• Professional Development Award (up to USD $5,000) for career growth

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be a citizen of one of the eligible Asian countries
• Under 40 years of age
• Demonstrated leadership in professional field & community
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Committed to attending all program components
