

Apply for the Tedric A. Harris Bearing Industry Scholarship

The American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA) established this scholarship in honor of Professor Tedric A. Harris. The program supports engineering students who have completed internships or co-ops at ABMA member companies, awarding two students $2,500 each to advance their studies.
Who Can Apply?
Undergraduate engineering students who have interned or completed co-ops with ABMA member companies.
What is Covered?
Two scholarships of $2,500 each awarded to outstanding applicants.
Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate student enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program

Completion of at least two years of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Must have completed an internship or co-op at an ABMA member company in 2024 or Spring 2025

Must provide:

Completed scholarship application form

Essay describing internship experience and benefits

Letter of recommendation signed by internship supervisor

Official undergraduate transcript

Updated resume or CV
