The B.A. Krukoff Fellowship in Systematics 2026–2027 supports international students pursuing a Master’s degree at Queen Mary University of London in collaboration with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The fellowship fully funds tuition fees and provides up to £21,000 for living and travel expenses.

  • Those with an academic or professional background in Tropical African Botany.

  • Living stipend and travel allowance of up to £21,000.

  • Plant and Fungal Diversity

  • Plant and Fungal Conservation

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for the MSc in Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity, and Conservation at QMUL/Kew.

  • Must demonstrate experience in Tropical African Botany.

  • Show clear commitment to contributing to Tropical African Botany after graduation.

  • English language proficiency required (per QMUL requirements).

How to Apply?

  1. Apply for admission to the MSc program at Queen Mary University of London.

  2. Once offered admission, apply for the B.A. Krukoff Fellowship through the Bentham-Moxon Trust/Kew.

  3. Prepare supporting documents:

    • CV/Resume

    • Academic transcripts and certificates

    • Proof of English proficiency

    • Personal statement detailing experience and commitment to Tropical African Botany

  4. Submit your fellowship application before the deadline.
