Chalmers University, in collaboration with KTH and industry partners, offers a postdoctoral position focused on developing lignocellulose-based materials for sustainable applications. The project is part of FibRe, a VINNOVA competence center, combining academic research, industrial collaboration, and applied chemistry to develop high-fiber content materials with improved thermoformability.
Who Can Apply?

Candidates with a doctoral degree in fiber and polymer science, materials science, or equivalent

Researchers with experience in material characterization, chemical/chemical engineering experiments, and large-scale research infrastructures

Eligibility Criteria:

Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field obtained by the employment decision date

Experience in fiber/polymer science or material science

Proven ability in advanced characterization techniques

Strong written and verbal English skills

Desirable: PhD obtained within last 3 years, teaching experience, publications in cellulose-based systems research, awareness of diversity and gender equality issues
