The LawAI Summer Fellowship 2026 offers a fully funded 10-week program for law students, professionals, and academics worldwide. Fellows engage in research projects on AI law and policy, guided by mentors and interacting with policymakers and researchers. The program is remote-first with a mandatory in-person week in Washington, D.C., or Berkeley, CA.
Who Can Apply?
International applicants from all countries, including graduate law students (JD, LLM), PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, legal professionals, and academics. Applicants with varying levels of experience in AI law and policy are welcome.
